Hyewon is a foreign attorney at Peter & Kim based in Seoul and is a member of District of Columbia bar.
Prior to joining Peter & Kim, Hyewon was a corporate counsel for CJ CheilJedang
Corporation, a Korean conglomerate, and Bithumb, a digital asset exchange run by a
Korean unicorn startup. She also served as a judicial intern to Judge Eric G. Bruggink of the US Court of Federal Claims; research assistant to Professor Benjamin Hughes, an independent arbitrator; and discovery consultant and intern at a leading Korean law firm.
Hyewon is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Handong International Law School where she majored in US and international law. She also has a B.A. degree in international law and diplomacy from Ewha Womans University where her graduation thesis “Legality of New Technology: Drones” received an Excellence in Honors Thesis award.
