PRACTICE
Marion Paris specializes in international arbitration with a focus on commercial disputes. She is listed among the Who’s Who (WWL) Arbitration Future Leaders where she is described as “a refined legal mind with broad experience and high standards”. She has acted as counsel, arbitrator or secretary to the tribunal in more than 30 arbitration proceedings, conducted under various rules (ICC, OHADA, UNCITRAL, AFA, LCIA, ICSID, Swiss Rules) and governed by a variety of substantive laws.
Marion’s experience includes disputes relating to construction projects, international sales, natural resources, telecommunications, intellectual property, the transport and defense industries. Passionate about art, Marion has been appointed to the pool of arbitrators of the Court of Arbitration for Art.
She also sits on the Commission on Human Rights of the Geneva Bar Association and coordinates the activities of its Business and Human Rights working group.
Before joining Peter & Kim, Marion practiced international arbitration at Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, an arbitration firm based in Geneva. Prior to that, she trained with the arbitration teams of magic circle firms in Paris. She also worked at the Secretariat of the ICC Court of Arbitration as deputy counsel.
