PRACTICE
Marcus specializes in international commercial matters and investment treaty-related disputes. He has acted and advised as counsel and/or tribunal secretary in numerous international arbitration matters in the blockchain & cryptocurrency, energy, financial services, technology and maritime sectors. These include both ad hoc and institution-administered arbitrations with the ICC, SIAC, ICSID, HKIAC, ICDR, CIETAC, LCIA and AIAC.
Before joining Peter & Kim, Marcus served as law clerk and tribunal secretary to prominent international arbitrators in The Arbitration Chambers. Prior to that, he was an associate with a leading law firm in Singapore. Marcus graduated with an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore where he received multiple accolades in both academics and international advocacy competitions (including, the 25th Willem C. Vis Moot and the FDI Moot).
