Presented in English and Korean, this session will explore how litigation tools can be used to support international arbitration. From freezing assets pre-arbitration to compelling discovery, and to enforcing arbitral awards, the panelists will share their experience in utilizing various tools in court litigation and arbitration proceedings to maximize the chance of settlement (both on the offensive and defensive sides) in cross-border disputes. Focusing primarily on the United States and South Korea, this session will offer practical insights on using litigation tools more aggressively for the effective resolution of cross-border disputes.
