Prior to joining Peter & Kim as an Associate, Alan Nadirov has gained considerable experience working in international arbitration groups of major Stockholm and Paris-based law firms. He recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in International Commercial Arbitration from Stockholm University (2022).

- Representing one of Europe’s largest industrial groups in two parallel arbitrations (ICC and SCC) in relation to disputes concerning natural gas deliveries with an amount of USD over 500 million and USD 250 million in dispute, under Swiss and Swedish laws.
- Represented a sovereign State in an investment arbitration under the UNCITRAL Rules arising out of a tender for biometric ID production.
- Represented a Swedish entrepreneur against a Middle East State in an ICSID arbitration in a dispute concerning expropriation of investments in the retail industry.
- Represented a Central Asian State in an ad hoc investment arbitration dispute arising out of gas supply agreements.
- Represented a CIS State in an ICSID arbitration arising out of alleged direct nationalization of investments in the hospitality industry.
- Assisted the Arbitral Tribunal in an SCC arbitration arising out of a construction contract between American and German companies, under German law.
- Represented a major mining and metallurgy consortium in an arbitration dispute under the SCC Rules concerning the supply of heavy construction equipment, with Swedish and Swiss law applicable.
- Represented a Serbian engineering company in an SCC arbitration concerning the construction of power-generating facilities, under Belorussian law.
- Represented a Norwegian geophysical company in a dispute concerning offshore seismic surveys in arbitration under ICAC Rules, with Russian law applicable.
- Represented a major mining and metallurgy consortium in international arbitration proceedings under the ICC Rules with more than USD 500 million in dispute, with Swiss law applicable.
