Brandon is a senior associate at Peter & Kim’s Seoul office, specializing in high stakes international commercial and investment treaty arbitration. Brandon has acted as counsel in arbitrations under a wide variety of arbitral institutions, such as the ICSID, ICC, PCA, SIAC and ad hoc arbitrations worldwide.
His practice spans a wide variety of industry sectors – ranging from disputes arising out of large-scale infrastructure, construction and engineering projects to financial, technology and investment disputes. These frequently involve novel aspects of law and practice, covering multiple jurisdictions and legal systems.
Brandon has broad experience with complex commercial litigation, and arbitration-related litigation before national courts. He has successfully challenged and enforced arbitral awards, stayed litigation proceedings in favour of arbitration, and obtained interim measures in aid of arbitration. He is also well-versed in matters relating to cryptocurrency and digital assets, having represented and advised cryptocurrency service providers, stablecoin issuers, and key industry players in their disputes within the ecosystem.
Prior to joining Peter & Kim, Brandon was a senior member of Singapore’s top dispute resolution practice.

- Counsel to a German industrial group against a Korean conglomerate in ICC arbitration proceedings over the construction and delivery of military technology.
- Represented a Korean supplier against a multinational engineering group in arbitration proceedings over breaches of a joint venture agreement.
- Represented a group of bondholders in the Asia-Pacific region against the Swiss Confederation in investor-state proceedings over the Swiss financial regulatory authority’s decision to write down Additional Tier-One bonds issued by Credit Suisse.
- Represented a group of international investors in a first-of-its-kind representative action against Terraform Labs over the collapse of its flagship TerraUSD stablecoin.
- Successfully represented a Korean multinational conglomerate in arbitration proceedings against an Indian state-owned enterprise over the breach of a construction contract for a petrochemical plant.
- Successfully represented an international construction company in arbitration proceedings against the Republic of Maldives over the breach of a housing development contract and the expropriation of key investments.
- Advised on and resisted court proceedings brought under the Singapore International Arbitration Act to set aside arbitral awards on excess of jurisdiction and breach of natural justice grounds.
