Sophie Bühler is a Swiss qualified attorney-at-law specializing in international and domestic arbitration and related court proceedings.
She regularly acts as counsel and has served as administrative secretary in arbitration proceedings under various institutional rules (ICC, Swiss Rules, DIS, and CAS) as well as in ad hoc arbitrations. She has particular experience in commercial disputes arising from construction and distribution agreements, as well as employment contracts in the sports industry. Her sports practice also encompasses associative disputes and anti-doping proceedings.
Since July 2024, she has served as an arbitrator for the Swiss Sports Tribunal, adjudicating disputes concerning breaches of the Statutes on Ethics and the Doping Statute in Swiss Sport.
Prior to joining Peter & Kim, she practiced in the dispute resolution group of a leading Swiss law firm in Zurich and served as an ad hoc clerk for the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Prior to her admission to the bar, she served as an academic assistant at the University of Zurich, completed a judicial clerkship, and trained at major law firms in Zurich and London.
